Brand Introduction and History
The history of Allegheny Shredders began over 50 years ago, when John Wagner started building an industrial shredder to outperform the 7.5 HP paper shredder, which was the most powerful of its time. In 1971, he introduced the first heavy-duty industrial shredder for the paper industry, paving the way for increasingly powerful machines that led to Allegheny’s current 300 HP model. Since those early days, the company has been an icon in the paper and e-scrap shredding industry, widely recognized as the world leader in information destruction.
For fast and reliable destruction of hard drives, e-scrap and other data-bearing media
The Hard Drive Shredder was designed to safely and efficiently destroy computer hard drives, optical media, and other electronic devices (telephones, cell phones, and USB drives).
The shredding performed by the equipment provides maximum protection, eliminating any possibility of reconstructing and recovering confidential or personal data that must be safeguarded and secured in accordance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Furthermore, the Hard Drive Shredder reduces devices that take up excessive physical space within the company into small fragments.
